Development of the Dominican Republic's NDC 3.1

The consultancy aims to support the development of the Dominican Republic's updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) 3.0 by addressing three main components: analyzing the national mitigation potential to identify and improve climate mitigation options, updating adaptation measures to accelerate implementation by integrating cross-cutting issues such as gender and inclusion, and proposing transparency content for the updated NDC. This involves collecting and analyzing existing data, consulting with stakeholders, defining sectoral targets for 2030 and 2035, creating detailed implementation roadmaps, and preparing communication materials for diverse audiences.
