Technical review of the BTR1 in Peru

The project involved the Expert Technical Review (ERT) of Peru’s First Biennial Transparency Report (BTR) submitted under Article 13 of the Paris Agreement, in accordance with the applicable modalities, procedures, and guidelines (MPGs). The review was conducted as a country review, coordinated by the UNFCCC secretariat and carried out by an Expert Technical Review Team (ERTT). The objective was to provide a transparent, coherent, and objective technical assessment of the reported information, with a specific focus on the report’s transparency. The process identified areas for improvement and capacity-building needs, supporting the strengthening of national transparency arrangements under the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF).
